Kathy Stokes RAD RTS FIDTAKathy is a registered teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and a Fellow of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) recognised by the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET)

After a successful career performing around the country in musical theatre Kathy opened her own school which has now been operating for over 30 years. She has taught all forms of dance and has produced and choreographed numerous musicals, variety shows and pantomimes during that time.

A high volume of children have passed through the school learning different styles of dance depending on the current trends. In her role as choreographer with different societies, pupils have been given the opportunity to appear in major musical productions, some taking leading roles. Older students often return to the school, after finishing University, to continue their dance studies to gain more qualifications or as a hobby to keep fit.

Since September 2010 she has decided to dedicate her skills to Earlsdon Ballet School which has been under her guidance since 2004. The school continues to offers tuition and advice in all forms of dance and operates together with the Jill Purser Theatre School at the same premises.
